[-empyre-] introducing Antoanetta Ivanova

-empyre- is pleased to welcome our first guest for April, Antoanetta Ivanova
who will introduce a series of discussion topics on copyright for new media
arts, which for many artists working in online and digital environments is a
confusing arena of differening value systems and conflicting information
across national and international borders and media types. Discussion will
start from tomorrow.

Antoanetta is a producer and curator of new media projects and events. She
is the director of novamedia | arts - a Melbourne-based company dedicated to
the management, development, promotion and distribution of new media arts
content.

Most recent projects include:
[ Solar Circuit ]  international new media arts workshop and wilderness
residency;
[ out@night ] experimental film festival; and
[ WILD 2002 ] exhibition and video documentary.

Previously, Antoanetta has worked as an independent artist and producer; as
an Administrator for Viscopy Australia Visual Arts Copyright Collecting
Agency in Sydney, as an assistant Production Manager for Islington
Publishing in London, UK and as a press photographer in Sofia, Bulgaria
among others.

Originally from Bulgaria, Antoanetta has been living in Australia since
1994.
